Weekly Themes

  • Dive into the world of robotics! Campers will learn to design and build various types of robots. From spinning and jumping to helping us perform tasks, robots can do just about anything. This week introduces concepts of engineering and automation.

  • Spin, lift and launch your way through the week with unforgettable projects that bring motion to life. Campers will build Rube Goldberg contraptions, create their own moving images, battle spinning tops, and more.

  • During the week, campers will explore different energy sources to power their projects. They’ll dive deep into solar, wind and kinetic energy to understand how to create momentum and make their projects go.

  • Campers this week will learn about art and engineering principles that will expand their concept of what art is. They will explore how engineering principles can be used to create art that’s beautiful, art that moves, and art that serves a household function. They’ll come home with pieces you will love to display and use in your everyday lives.

  • Blast off into an adventure out of this world. Campers will design, build, and launch their own model rockets to understand the principles of flight, aerodynamics and propulsion! They’ll explore deep space by tackling how the solar system works, learning about the speed of light, and possibly discovering if we’re really the only ones here.

  • Welcome to Mechanical Engineering 101! We’ll explore the mechanics behind everyday tools. Campers will learn about levers, pulleys, and gears to build functional contraptions. We just might build catapults and use them to launch water balloons.

  • To celebrate the last week of camp, we’re selecting the most-loved projects and activities from all of our previous themes to give campers an exciting last week before school begins again.
